Q. Can I create a new folder from the Internal FTP Upload in Blogger?
A. 1. Click on "Save and Publish"
2. Window pops up - Click on "Connect"
3. Window changes to show list of folders on your Server.
4. Right click in the window to get a menu popup and select "New Folder"
5. Right Click on "New Folder" Select Rename, name your folder, Open It, and Upload your files.

Q. Can Users on line post to the Blogger on the Web Site?
A. No, At this time Mulitiple Users can not enter events online. This is a single user software to be edited off server and uploaded.

Q. In what order will my Blog appear?
A. The default is to have your new blogs appear first. Look in the Blog Settings area under the Blog Designer tab for "Reverse Blog Direction" and select it, this will show your old blog entry first.

Q. Is there an easy way to add Events to Blogger?
A. If you need to update your blog, the quickest way is to edit the txt file it has created. You copy one of the 'items' (<item></item> and everything between those two tags) and paste it where you want your new entry to appear. Then you change the contents of the title, the pubDate and the description, save it and upload..

Tips and Tricks

 

  • You can lower the transparency of your Blog to allow the background from your webpage to show through by clicking on Blog Designer and then Blog Transparency.
  • Use the Preview button to see your Blog before uploading it to your server.
  • You can change the Back and Next buttons to different colors or use your own images.
  • Do you want to in include your Blog in an existing webpage? Take a look at the help file for detailed instructions.
  • Use _blank in the Target field for a link to make it open in a new browser window.
  • Double click on an entry in the Blog History to open it in the edit area of the My Blog tab.
  • Look in the system tray for the red pen icon, if you minimized the program. This will allow you to have quick and easy access to your journal.
