Custom Formbuilder Subject Line

Formbuilder Version 8 now allows your users to decide what the Subject Line will be for the e-mail that you will receive.

 

When designing your form, click the Input Box Icon on the top Menu Bar and drag the created box to wherever you would like it on your form.
Next, go to the settings panel on the right hand side ( see image on the right ), by the side of 'Name:' enter Subject.
Next, put a check mark in the 'Required Field' box, this just makes sure that your email will have a subject line.
Next, put a check mark in the 'Subject Field' box.
Finally you may want to set the maximum number of characters your user can enter into the Subject Field, you can set this by adjusting the 'Maximum Length' box, setting ot to '0' allows unlimited characters.

This method gives you total control of the Subject Line.

 

Click the Drop-Down Box Icon on the top Menu Bar and drag the created box to wherever you would like it on your form.
Next, go to the settings panel on the right hand side ( see image on the right ), by the side of 'Name:' enter Subject.
Next, put a check mark in the 'Required Field' box, this just makes sure that your email will have a subject line.

Next, click the small icon next to 'Configure Menu Items:', in the box that appears, add the items that you would like each of your Subject Lines to be.

 

When your visitor now fills in your form they will be able to choose from the list of options you have given them and it will be used as the Subject of the email.
