When using Coffeecup Formbuilder with a transparent background; some users, especially in the UK, have said visitors who use Firefox and Opera as their browser are unable to enter an email using the normal '@' key on their keyboard. Instead they have to use the US keyboard method of pressing SHIFT 2. After several checks to determine what is causing this problem, we have also discovered that there is a bug in both browsers that sometimes, it's not possible to write in the textfield as it becomes locked. In addition, this makes the keyboard mappings completely screwy and all non-standard characters become broken.
This problem is not caused by Coffeecup Formbuilder.
The way round this is to uncheck the 'Transparent' box on the settings panel so your form will then function in the normal way. IE is not affected by this problem.
Below is a flash object created with SwishMax, enter any e-mail address into the input box to check if your keyboard language is affected by the bug in Firefox and Opera when you have transparency set.
Please Note:- You must be browsing with Firefox or Opera to see the input results.
This is an example where Transparency has not been selected
